From the Kamas Valley, the Three Mile Canyon Landfill in Coalville is roughly 20–25 minutes each way, and every DIY round trip means loading, driving out, waiting in the gate line, tipping, and driving back — plan on 1.5 to 2 hours per load. A typical barn or estate cleanout runs 4–5 pickup loads. That’s two weekends of hauling, gate fees on every trip, and landfill roads that eat tires.
